About

Hi, I'm Adelie (/ˈædəli/)!

I'm a software developer creating at the intersection of art and technology. I'm drawn to cinema and storytelling, especially how meaning emerges through structure, pacing, and visual language. I'm especially interested in joining pipeline teams or studio R&D departments, building tools for film and animation workflows.

Alongside my technical work, I've also worked in healthcare project management, where I developed experience coordinating cross-functional teams, managing operational workflows, and translating real-world constraints into structured systems. That experience continues to shape how I think about building reliable, human-centred software.

I currently volunteer as Co-Chair of the Academy Software Foundation's Summer Learning Program, a joint initiative between the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and the Linux Foundation, focused on industry learning and mentorship in animation and visual effects for underserved communities. I lead program operations and cohort engagement under the founder's guidance, and previously served as Engagement Lead in 2025 after beginning as a mentee in 2024.

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Software Development (May 2026), was inducted into the National Honour Society Alpha Sigma Lambda, and served as Secretary for the Student Association.

Feel free to reach out if you'd like to discuss opportunities, collaborate on a project, talk about your favourite films, or just say hi.
